The Staudingerhof is an organic farm 2 km from Mauterndorf in the Lungau region, offering panoramic mountain views, a large garden, and many farm activities. Each apartment has a balcony overlooking the mountains.
All guests can contribute to farming activities, including feeding the animals, milking the cows, baking bread, and making cheese. Guests can also ride ponies, play table tennis, tabletop football and basketball, and practice archery.
The spacious, rustically furnished apartments at the Staudingerhof feature a living room with satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom.
There is also a children’s playground with a trampoline, and children can ride on tractors and walk on stilts. Hiking trails start right outside, and many clear mountain streams are nearby.
A free ski bus stops 500 metres away and takes guests to all ski areas in the region, including Fanningberg and Großeck-Speiereck. Cross-country ski runs are within 500 metres, and the Obertauen Ski Area is 15 km away.
From 1 May to 31 October, the Lungau Card is included in the rate. This card offers many free benefits and discounts in the region, including free use of the cable cars.
